Deploy Smart Sensors Across Land & Sea

Track, monitor, and manage your field or water-based operations in real-time whether you're offshore or off-grid.
The Challenge
The barriers to Scalable Field Monitoring
Aquaculture and agriculture operations often span wide, remote, and infrastructure-limited environments making it hard to track assets, monitor conditions, or collect real-time data. Cellular coverage is unreliable, power access is limited, and scaling networks across acres or open sea is costly.

No Infrastructure, No Connectivity

Rural and offshore locations lack cellular coverage or WiFi, making real-time monitoring nearly impossible. OWL’s mesh platform connects devices without relying on towers or external networks.

Power Constraints

Whether it’s a buoy on open water or a sensor deep in the forest, power access is limited. OWL’s low-power devices run on solar or battery for months, sometimes years without maintenance.

Limited Scalability

Most systems aren’t built to expand across wide environments or support mixed sensor types. OWL is modular, scalable, and ready for water, soil, weather, or flow sensors, all with plug-and-play simplicity.
The Solution

How we solve it for you

OWL delivers a complete, end-to-end tracking solution purpose-built for environments where traditional infrastructures fail. From rugged hardware to self-healing mesh firmware and a browser-based management dashboard, OWL gives you everything you need to deploy, monitor, and scale agricultural monitoring networks anywhere.

How OWL built ocean floor monitoring for NATO

As part of the NATO DIANA Accelerator, OWL developed and deployed an underwater radio networking system to monitor ocean health using mesh connectivity.

Leveraging the DuckLink platform, OWL created a field-ready, submersible mesh solution capable of relaying data from seabed sensors across long distances without cables or infrastructure. This project demonstrated the ability to enable real-time, off-grid communication between ocean floor nodes—critical for monitoring environmental conditions, biodiversity, and maritime activity in remote marine zones. The system was built for durability, low power, and modular integration with existing scientific tools and satellite backhaul systems.

"With OWL’s platform and the ClusterDuck Protocol, we were able to monitor vacuum and temperature across our sugarbush without running a single wire. It gave us visibility into our maple syrup operation that we’ve never had before."
